Joshua Lou Friedman has worked in films and television since 1991. His television credits range from children’s animation (“Inspector Gadget”, “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventures”, “Sonic the Hedgehog”), to award-winning favorites such as “Heroes”, “CSI: New York”, “Monk”, “Everybody Hates Chris”, “Worst Week” and “Alias”. His feature film credits include “Transformers”, “9”, “Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny”, “Cougar Club”, “Wizard of Gore”, “Big Bad Wolf”, “Midnight Meat Train” and the forthcoming “Bitch Slap”.
As a writer, Joshua was a contributing author for TOON Magazine and served as editor for the novel “Animation by Filmation” for Black Bear Press. His genre credits range from helping to create and develop the Thomas Riker character for Star Trek: The Next Generation with Mike Medlock, authoring “Homecoming” for the Red Dwarf anthology, Tales from the Dwarfside as well as “Coda” for the Doctor Who anthology, Missing Pieces. He currently resides in Hermosa Beach, California and frequently bartends at the Playboy Mansion.
