Ian Bisset, Correspondent

Tara and IanTara and IanIan Bisset was born and raised in Lower Hutt, New Zealand and until 1988 was a Doctor Who watcher rater than a fan, it took the acting prowess of Colin Baker to start the young man off in his journey to becoming a Doctor Who fan!

By 1991, Ian was established in the Wellington Chapter of the New Zealand Doctor Who Fan Club and attended his first Doctor Who convention (it was one day with no guests an it was held in a school hall). By 1992, Ian was instrumental in organizing DoctorCon 2,

Yet another guest-less convention, but one that got the attention of the New Zealand media due to a typo.

Skipping ahead many years, Ian is now living in Florida (no, he's not that old) with his wife and son (who are now Doctor Who fans) and is active in the podcasting community even after a comment 5 years ago of, "Who wants to listen to a bunch of people making their own radio show on the internet?" Ian thanks Paul Scoones, Doctor Who: Podshock, West Hubbard and Dave Cooper for landing him in this mess.
