By now I will assume you have seen the latest episode of Doctor Who, The Angels Take Manhattan. If you have not, you may want to stop reading this until you have because this piece may spoil the episode for you. So consider this a spoiler alert (insert cloister bells here).
In this next to last episode of the year 2012 we see the Ponds for the last time. Amy (Karen Gillan) and Rory (Arthur Darvill) are doomed to live the rest of their lives in Earth's past without any further visits from the Doctor… Or we are led to believe at least. Though never say "never" in Doctor Who as it has been proven time and time again.
What did you think of their farewell?
Here is the prologue mini adventure from the BBC for the 2012 Doctor Who series, Pond Life. All five parts are included below so you can view them one after the other (each is very short). As the name implies, it focuses around Amy and Rory, but the Doctor is also included in each.
The complete five episodes (or chapters) are below one after the other. UPDATE: Wouldn't you know as this was being posted here, the BBC released an omnibus version of Pond Life as one video of all five parts? They have and now instead of the 5 parts below, here is the complete all-in-one version which runs 5 minutes and 22 seconds:
Both BBC and BBC America have made the new promo trailer for the upcoming Doctor Who series available (2012). On the BBC website, it is not restricted to the UK only either. Enjoy!

Doctor Who: Podshock - Episode 263
Running Time: 1:00:44
A classic interview with Lalla Ward (Romana II), The Romans reviewed, news (a Pond Farewell), feedback (Greg in FL), and more! A DWP holiday episode. Hosted by Louis Trapani.
Doctor Who returns on Saturday, 27 August 2011 both on the BBC in the UK and BBC America in the USA. Executive Producer and Lead Writer for the series, Steven Moffat had the following to say about the resumption of the 2011 series in the latest from the BBC Press Office. Some may consider some of this to be a little "spoilery" — so be warned if you rather not know any details about the upcoming episodes for 2011.
What do you think of the Doctor's long coat in the promo image?
I'm not sure how long this will remain watchable but enjoy while it does.
Once again, Craig Ferguson welcomes Doctor Who guests on his US late night chat show, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. This coming week we have both Matt Smith and Karen Gillan lined up to appear on his show, but not on the same night. It's Monday night's show for Matt* and Tuesday for Karen… *Maybe. I say maybe because according to the show's CBS website of this week's guests, it has Matt scheduled for Friday at the time of this writing. According to my DVR though, he's on for Monday night's show, so I would advise recording Monday night's show just to play it safe. If Matt is not on it, be sure to set your DVR for Friday. Remember when it comes to setting your DVR, since the show is at 12:35 am, it's after midnight, so techincally, it's the next day. Depending on your DVR, you may need to go Tuesday, July 26th at 12:35 am to find Monday night's show and to Wednesday, July 27th at 12:35am to find Tuesday night's show.
Both are "in town" so to speak -- well at least in CA for San Diego Comic Con taking place now.
An exclusive, never-before-seen interview with Doctor Who stars Matt Smith and Arthur Darvill, plus Executive Producer/Lead Writer Steven Moffat, about Amy Pond's surprising ties to the evil of the Universe.

The show is on at 12:37am (technically Saturday) EDT, check your local listings in your area for show times in your area.

Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, and Arthur Darvill will be on hand at the Barnes & Noble located at 555 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY at 12 noon this Friday, April 8, 2011 signing copies of the DVD box set of Doctor Who: The Complete Fifth Series (season 31).

Here is the trailer for the upcoming 2011 series of Doctor Who. Currently it is viewable outside of the UK, but there is no guarantee how long that will remain the case.
Red Nose Day 2011 - Doctor Who is back with a vengeance as the Doctor (Matt Smith) provides some cosmic relief. The wonderful Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) is usually a handful on her own but in this special episode she confronts herself, literally.
As previously reported, the Doctor Who iOS game, Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time debuted in the Apple App Store last December. There are two versions, one is for the iPhone and iPod touch, and an HD version for the iPad. Unfortunately, it is not a universal app, so you can either get the iPhone/iPod touch version and upscale it for the iPad, or alternatively get the HD version specifically for the iPad.
The prices in the US App store had been $3.99 and $4.99 respectively, but are NOW ONLY 99¢ each. So if you have been holding off purchasing this game for the iOS platform, now is the time (that includes myself). At this time, I don't know if this price reduction only pertains to the US iTunes App Store or if it is worldwide. Also I do not know if this is a permanent price reduction or a limited time sale.

Just in time for the holidays (depending on when your holiday falls), it is the "11th Doctor: Christmas Adventure Set 2010" available now on the Forbidden Planet website. It features the 11th Doctor and Amy Pond sporting her kiss-a-gram police uniform and a non-electronic TARDIS with front doors that open and judging from the photo, access to the phone as well. It is expected to be available on the 20th of December 2010. It sells for £26.99.
I can only assume this is being called a "Christmas Adventure set" solely due to the fact of when it is being released because to the best of my knowledge, Amy will not be wearing her police uniform in the upcoming Christmas special, A Christmas Carol. It would be more fitting to call it 'The Eleventh Hour' Adventure set… though technically the Doctor was still in his 10th Doctor hand-me-down raggedy clothes when Amy was in her kiss-a-gram police uniform. If you want 'The Raggedy Doctor' it is available in a two figure set. This two figure set is available for £11.99.
