Here is the prologue mini adventure from the BBC for the 2012 Doctor Who series, Pond Life. All five parts are included below so you can view them one after the other (each is very short). As the name implies, it focuses around Amy and Rory, but the Doctor is also included in each.
The complete five episodes (or chapters) are below one after the other. UPDATE: Wouldn't you know as this was being posted here, the BBC released an omnibus version of Pond Life as one video of all five parts? They have and now instead of the 5 parts below, here is the complete all-in-one version which runs 5 minutes and 22 seconds:
The BBC released a teaser promo video for the upcoming first episode of the new 2012 series of Doctor Who titled 'Asylum of the Daleks' (coming to BBC One on 1 September 2012).
Richard E. Grant has been cast in the upcoming 2012 Doctor Who Christmas special. The news came from a tweet from Doctor Who Magazine today. It's interesting to see an official-unofficial past Doctor actor return to the series. You may recall that Richard E. Grant was the original 9th Doctor in the Scream of the Shalka, a story written by Paul Cornell. This animated adventure was produced prior to the television series being relaunched in 2005. We reviewed Scream of the Shalka not too long ago in Doctor Who: Podshock 267. In it, we discussed Richard E. Grant's portrayal of the Doctor and how Scream was the forerunner of Rose.
Both BBC and BBC America have made the new promo trailer for the upcoming Doctor Who series available (2012). On the BBC website, it is not restricted to the UK only either. Enjoy!
So that you all don't bored the two part mini adventure written once again by UK school children, is finally here for your Perousal! ENJOY....PS Happy Towel Day.
The first two series of Matt Smith as the Doctor has been recreated in a video simulating an old style (I would say 16-bit) video game running just over 4 minutes long. Be warned, there are spoilers pertaining to the these two series (if you are not up to date).
Thanks to @EoghannIrving for the heads up on this one.
As promised here is the actual Doctor Who 2012 series (AKA "series 7") promo trailer direct from BBC America starring Matt Smith as the (11th) Doctor.
Here is the new trailer for the upcoming new series of Doctor Who. It is obviously hand held and shot at the 'official Doctor Who Convention' in the UK going on this weekend. A full HD version is coming on Monday.

The shooting for Series 7 is due to start on the 20th February, with rehersals starting this Monday on the 13th.
Writers so far include Steven Moffat, Mark Gattis & John Fay the latter was part resposible for Torchwood Children of Earth. To them Gareth Robberts and Chris "42" Chibnell have also been added, Chris's episode being looked at, at this moment in time for Episode 3.
So spoiler-phobes from the 20th of February fingers in ears and chant the mantra, It's not on TV yet, It's not on TV yet, na na na na na! But I'll see it soon enough....
Traditionally at this time of the year, it is common to look back at the past year before leaping forward into the new year. We'll do one better… actually forty seven better by looking back at the past 48 years of Doctor Who in this timeline infographic. So before you ring in the new year, look back at the past years of your favourite Time Lord in this in-depth overview of the Doctor's adventures through the years on television along with his companions and iconic foes.
Special thanks to James of cabletv.com for allowing us to share this with you.
It's that time of the year again and we are just weeks away from a new Doctor Who Christmas special. Due to arrive on December 25th on the BBC and BBC America, the new special starring Matt Smith titled The Doctor, The Widow, and the Wardrobe was written by Steven Moffat. In case you missed it (as I had), here is the Doctor Who segment with Matt Smith from this year's Children in Need charity which also includes a 'trailer' preview of this year's Christmas special titled, The Doctor, The Widow, and the Wardrobe. The special is slated for Christmas Day in the UK.
