Doctor Who: Podshock Live Shows Resume Again and a New Sonic Newsdriver
Thanks to all those who participated in our live over the net Doctor Who: Podshock recording on Sunday, May 1st reviewing 'The Impossible Astronaut' and 'Day of the Moon.' We had a good turn out. Remember to try to get in the queue early for live feedback and as always, we will give preference to supporting subscribers. This episode should be hitting the feeds soon. Special thanks to Dave Cooper @daveac and Graeme Sheridan @The2ndDoctor for co-hosting the show with me.
Next Sunday is another holiday which means there will be no live show then, but we will return on Sunday, May 15th when we will record two live shows. One reviewing 'The Curse of the Black Spot' and another reviewing 'The Doctor's Wife.' We will be on a weekly schedule onwards through June 5th (unless there is a change in the broadcast schedule of Doctor Who. We hope you will join us then.

The cast of Doctor Who arrives at the East Village Cinema in New York City for the second year in a row now for a premiere screening of the start of the 2011 series. Among the cast are Matt Smtih, Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill, Alex Kingston, joined by Executive Producer and Lead Writer, Steven Moffat. If you watch closely in the background, you can spot Barnaby Edwards (of DWNY and blogger here on our site) as well.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill, Steven Moffat, aaaaaaannnnddd Alex Kingston! The panel will be moderated by Chris Hardwick otherwise known as @nerdist and will be recording for the Nerdist Podcast. The tickets are be warened FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED!

Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, and Arthur Darvill will be on hand at the Barnes & Noble located at 555 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY at 12 noon this Friday, April 8, 2011 signing copies of the DVD box set of Doctor Who: The Complete Fifth Series (season 31).
According to the Barnes & Noble website, "You will need a wristband to join the signing line for this event. Wristbands will be distributed starting at 9AM on Friday, April 8 with the purchase of the Doctor Who: The Complete Fifth Series boxed Set. Please call store for additional details."
One can only assume this would apply to the Blu-ray set as well, but best to call the store to confirm at 212-697-3048.
