Dame Diana Rigg to guest in "Doctor Who"

It has been reported on the BBC's "Doctor Who" website that Diana Rigg will be guesting in "Doctor Who" and her daughter Rachel Stirling will be joining her.

They will be in a story written by Mark Gatiss.

Little is known about the role but it will be airing sometime in 2013.

For those of you who don't know Diana Rigg is a Dame is her best known for her portrayal as Emma Peel in the TV series "The Avengers". She also played James Bond's doomed wife (Teresa di Vicenzo) in the Movie "On her Magesty's Secret Service" starring with George Lazenby.

American viewers might know her better as the host of PBS's series "Mystery" after Vincent Price left the show..

Her daughter Rachel Stirling is a relative new-comer but she is known for here role as Rebeccah in the TV-movie "In the Beginning" and will be playing in the recent movie "Snow White and the Huntsman" as Anna.
