The Oncoming Storm: Postponing Live Review Shows for Sunday, August 28th

A note about our planned live shows reviewing 'Let's Kill Hitler' for Doctor Who: Podshock and our ongoing review of Torchwood: Miracle Day ('Immortal Sins') for Hitchhiker's Guide to British Sci-Fi…
The Oncoming Storm: Postponing Live Review Shows for Sunday, August 28th -
Due to the oncoming storm that is Hurricane Irene which is predicted hit here on Sunday. Not knowing if we will have power, let alone internet, it may be best to postpone our two scheduled live review shows for that day. Doctor Who: Podshock and Hitchhiker's Guide to British Sci-Fi were both originally scheduled for a live-over-the-net review (of Doctor Who and Torchwood: Miracle Day respectively) on Sunday will be postponed to the following Sunday (4 September 2011) when we will double up and review two episodes of each series on each respective show to catch up.

I don't blame you for being unsure about your power situation.
I live in North Carolina and even though I live over 100 miles away from the actual hurricane, we still lost power at our house - TWICE. After the power was restored it was knocked out again in a couple of hours later by falling braches (or limbs) on the power lines.
In a situation like this when you don't know what's going to happen, it's better to play it safe.
I was fortunate for the most part concerning power during and after the storm. I had some flickering and surges, several 1-second outages, but that was it for the most part. Yet, even today, days after the storm, there are still parts of my town without power. Homes are being run on power generators. So it was really just luck.
Even after the storm, during the recovery process, often they will need to cut power to remove fallen trees, branches, and limbs that may had hit power lines. So even if the worse of the storm was behind us by the time we recorded our live shows, there was still a possibility of power outages.
Well, now that things are starting to settle down somewhat, it is time to do the fun part (
) - getting caught up.
By my count you have two episodes of "Torchwood" to review (#7 Immortal Sins & #8 End of the Road) as well as a new episode of "Doctor Who"(Let's Kill Hitler), And you will have another episode of each when the week-end gets here. That's five shows of work already - if you continue the one-episode-a-show format. That's a large job.
Good luck on the catch-up!
PS: I know that you do the "Torchwood" episodes a week behind (for the UK viewers to catch up) but I'm referring to the number of episodes that are out there. in the above post.
