Podshock 221: A little research goes a long way
I hate to criticize you guys on the work you do with the podcast, because 99% of the time it's outstanding. But after listening to Podshock 221, I have a little quibble: and that is the research, or lack there of, that is done sometimes before discussing a subject.
When you were talking about the rumors of McCoy getting cast in The Hobbit, you guys were trying to figure out the situation on who's directing, producing, etc. A quick Google would've let you know that Peter Jackson is still producing.
More, it would have let you know that GUILLERMO del Toro was to be the director (he's since moved on), not BENICIO del Toro, who is the actor. :)
To be honest, this isn't the first time this issue has occured to me. As I said, usually you guys are pretty good with things, so I hadn't brought it up. This one just stuck with me though.
And it's not that I don't want you mentioning non-Who stuff. It just that sometimes it doesn't feel like the same effort is there as if it were an actual Who-related subject.
