Question Marks Removed
No, this has nothing to do with the JNT question marks on the shirt collars of the Doctors (or in the 7th Doctor's case, his sweater vest)… No, this has to do our site URLs. It is now using "clean URLs" meaning the "?=" that appeared in our URLs are no longer there, but the previous URL links with them should still work.
The change may have broken a few links to graphics on our site. These can be fixed. If you find any, please let me know. I think I fixed most of them.
The negative side effect is that all the tweet counts on each article now have been reset to "0" -- So even if a story has been retweeted 18 times, it now shows up as "0" because the way it calculates retweets is by the URL.
The reason for the change is simply to make it easier for others to type out our URLs (if for some reason they are not using 'copy and paste' and for some automated web systems to comprehend our URLs better - although this hasn't been an issue thus far).
