The Mythological Dimensions of Doctor Who Book Give Away for Podshock Supporting Subscribers
Doctor Who: Podshock had a fantastic time recording a live show at the book launch party of The Mythological Dimensions of Doctor Who on Thursday evening. The event took place at Fiddlesticks Pub and Grill in Manhattan (NYC). Joining Ken Deep and Louis Trapani on our live show were book contributors and editors Anthony S Burdge, Jessica Burke, Kristine Larsen, and Melody Green. Look forward to hearing the live show soon in an upcoming episode of Doctor Who: Podshock.
We are very pleased to announce that we have two copies of the book, The Mythological Dimensions of Doctor Who that have been personally signed by the contributors and editors we had on our live show that evening to give away to two lucky Podshock Supporting Subscribers! To tie in with the 25th anniversary of Gallifreyan Embassy and the 5th anniversary of Doctor Who: Podshock, one randomly selected current supporting subscriber will be chosen in June 2010 on the 25th anniversary of Gallifreyan Embassy and another randomly chosen supporting subscriber the following month (the 5th anniversary of Doctor Who: Podshock). These are rare editions as they are signed by four of the contributors/editors of the book at our live recording.
Podshock Supporting Subscribers help make our show possible. In addition to getting extra content with Extra Editions of the show, whenever possible we like to give something else away to supporting subscribers to show our appreciation for their continuing support. If you are not already a supporting subscriber and would like to become one, click here.
The process of choosing a subscriber is simple. All current supporting subscribers are put into a spreadsheet, each with its own number. Then a random number generator (random.org) is used to randomly select a number. The supporting subscriber that corresponds to that number is the chosen one.
