Just as the 11th Doctor and River kept meeting in the wrong order, I've been watching classic episodes in a similar way... in no particular order. Funny what turns up.
4 minutes and 50 seconds into into the first episode of Time Flight "the TARDIS encounters heavy turbulence, as if it's been caught in the wake of another time machine" according to http://www.drwhoguide.com/who_6c.htm, when it (the TARDIS) along with the Doctor, Nyssa and Tegan begin to experience a rather rough ride as the TARDIS suddenly lurches while subjected to sustained shaking...
"DOCTOR: Nyssa, have you touched the dimensional stabilisers? NYSSA: Of course not. All systems functioning normally. DOCTOR: It could be the relative drift compensator. NYSSA: No. TEGAN: Some sort of turbulence? DOCTOR: Feedback from the solar comparator? No. NYSSA: Another ship. DOCTOR: Another ship? What do you mean, another ship? NYSSA: If it builds up at this frequency, it could draw us into spatial convergence. We must materialise immediately. TEGAN: But we're due to land in London in a few minutes. DOCTOR: If we don't materialise, the TARDIS will be destroyed."
The first line of dialogue says it all: DOCTOR: "Nyssa, have you touched the dimensional stabilisers?" These would be the stabilisers that (according to the 11th Doctor) don't exist?
Okay, so the TARDIS has been reconfigured a number of times since the 5th Doctor, or at least the console room has changed, but are we to believe that the core systems of how the TARDIS traverses time and space have likewise changed? Don't think so.
Of course there's always Rule #1. You can explain away anything and everything with that.

Ian gets the trunk of his car searched, Dave goes for a walk in the woods and Mike goes to a wedding before we meet up to talk over LOM Series 1 Episode 8 (Series 1 Finale - UK Version )
Part three of the Serpent Crest series is available. The story picks up where the last part left off - The Doctor, Alex and Mrs. Wibbsey had been sucked into the Skishtari egg artifact and find themselves much like the times of Aladdin and Scheherazade .
Guest in this episode are Simon Sheppard as the Magician, Guy Harvey as Aladdin, Andrew Sachs as The Scarf, Terrance Hardiman as Gryphon, Su Douglas as Toad, and Sophie Ward as The Storyteller.
Next month the series will finish with the release of the final two parts - Part 4: The Hexford Invasion, and part 5: Survivors in Space. Both are to be released December 8th.
A big guest in the final two episodes - none other than the son of 3rd Doctor, Patrick Troughton - David Troughton, appearing as a Character known only as The Visitor. He is known for his appearances in "Doctor Who'" as King Peladon (The Curse of Peladon), and Professor Hobbs (Midnight) as well as his many appearances in Big Finish audios.
Movies have NEVER worked well for DW. Truth is nothing within a two hour format can capture what DW is overall. On the other hand, Moffat made such a total mess pile of garbage out of the show in seasons five and especially six, that wha'ts to worry? Quality no longer counts. People still watch anyway.,
The first five minutes of this audio TSAR WARS is just so awful I couldn't listen to more. And I have to say I LOVE Tom Baker but this start was so randomly terrible, the worst start to any DW story anywhere in any format, that I just couldn't. Here's hoping they end this awful NEST COTTAGE or whatever they are calling it, soon. They are of limited intelligence and poor plot and far too over the topness for me. In short, they're as awful as season five and six of the New DW series.
Armed with hip-flasks Ian, Mike and Dave try to calm down a tricky situation whilst remaining sober and talking over 'Life on Mars' Series 1 Episode 6 (UK Version)

If the volume levels seems a little low in this episode, it's not you or your equipment. For some unknown reason, it is low after encoding the file (both formats). The original audio is not low. I am not sure what is causing it and nothing has changed in our post production work flow. So it is puzzling. I have re-encoded it three times, each hoping for better results, but each sounds the same.
Apologies to those having trouble with it. Turn up the volume to number 11 if you can.
