Live from Fiddlesticks!
This past Thursday (May 20, 2010), Doctor Who: Podshock recorded a live show at the book launch party for The Mythological Dimensions of Doctor Who. Taking place at Fiddlesticks Pub & Grill in Manhattan (NYC), Ken, Billy and I arrived to see the venue was swarming with activity. Having passed it many times, I believe I have a vague memory being a patron there some years ago. I can recommend their veggie burgers (Ken and Billy equally recommend their other burgers).

The 8th comes to 7 ?

The Eighth Doctor returns to BBC Radio 7 Sunday 16th may when the station
begins airing selected stories from the third series of the Big Finish
Eighth Doctor Adventures.
Four out of eight stories will be broadcast, from the
series first released by Big Finish in 2009. Radio Seven has previously
broadcast the first two series of the Eighth Doctor Adventures.
The series starts on BBC Radio 7 on Sunday 16th May at 6pm
with a repeat at midnight BST.
Radio 7 can be heard around the world via the BBC Website.

Final Fleshy Figures

Final figures for Episode Five Flesh and Stone published today by
BARB show the story was watched by
8.50 million viewers.
On BBC One the programme got 8.02 million watching where it was the
fifth most watched programme for the channel for the week. An additional 0.48 million watched on BBC HD.
The BBC Three Sunday repeat just sneaked into the Top 30 with a
confirmed audience of 0.66 million viewers.

Vampires over night Figures
Unofficial overnight figures for The Vampires of Venice was
watched by 6.2 million viewers with a share of 30.6% of
the audience.
5.90 million watched on BBC One, where it was again the most watched
programme of the evening, with an additional 0.24 million watching on
BBC HD.
The rating was down slightly on the previous week, most probably due to
the earlier time slot. On ITV1, Funniest Ever You've Been Framed!
had 4.4 million watching.
This is now showing a few parallels with Doctor Who of old, that constantly shifting the times of transmission will mean that viewing figures will drop.

On The Examination Table About Doctor Who, GE, and Doctor Who: Podshock
The following is a reposted entry from my blog on the Art Trap Productions website.
A couple months ago, the Examiner posted a video interview of Doctor Who: Podshock consisting of Ken Deep, James Naughton, and myself conducted by Chris McKeon. This time, I am on the examination table so to speak in this latest interview with examiner.com once again by Chris McKeon. In it, I speak about Doctor Who, Doctor Who: Podshock, the Gallifreyan Embassy, and some of our other shows. This interview was conducted about two weeks prior (mid-March) of the BBC premiering the first Matt Smith as The Doctor story of new series of Doctor Who, The Eleventh Hour.
You can find the interview here on examiner.com: Louis Trapani of Doctor Who Podshock visits the Examiner again
