Starting this weekend, BBC America will fall behind the BBC in the airing of the current season.
In the US, the Memorial Day holiday will mean that no new episodes of Doctor Who will be aired this week. However BBC America will be airing a marathon of Doctor Who from 6AM (EDT) Saturday to 6AM (EDT) the following morning. The marathon will feature almost all the episodes in the Matt Smith era to this point - "The Eleventh Hour" to "The Rebel Flesh". Unfortunately two episode are missing from the marathon - "Vincent and the Doctor" and "The Lodger". Everything else will be there. and this season will be replayed when they complete "The Rebel Flesh".
However that does not change the BBC's schedule. This week they will air 'The Almost People'. It will be the conclusion of "The Rebel Flesh" and leaves only the episode "A Good Man Goes to War" to air the following weekend (June 4) before the show breaks, until the fall episodes begin.
