    Bad Wolf Characters

The two people controlling the Games behind the scenes in 'Bad Wolf' - they
are never given names, and they are only credited as the 'Male Programmer'
    and the 'Female Programmer'.

Just thought I'd point that out.

Great podcast guys. Keep it up.

David Tennant's scenes from Parting of the Ways were filmed in April, not July, and the episode was aired in June. July was the start of Series Two primary photography.

    Hi guys,

I loved the tribute to the people behind Doctor Who in the 1960s. It's always a treat when we get to listen to or meet the folks who were there in the early days. The reason we didn' hear much from Peter Bryant over the years is that he lived in Asia and that's a long way to travel for conventions and interviews. I've had a chance to meet some of these people over the years and a definite highlight was when I got to meet William Russell. It's also been great that many of these pioneers have bene intreviewed and asked to provide commentaries on DVD releases of 60s stories.

On the topic of ratings...what has bothered me about some of the ratings ranting (not just Podshock) is that a lot of it is about things that are simply untrue. Blame gets traded around over a Doctor Who ratings crisis bothers me because there is no ratings crisis. On many of the weeks that people have ranted at the BBC that the timeslot is hurting the ratings were actually *UP* from the previous year. The ratings are fine, better than last year most of the time.

The ratings for some of the later episodes *might* be lower than the same episode slot last year but Doctor Who is running later into the summer this year. Ratings for all series will drop off as we get into the summer as fewer people watch tv in better weather. The more important statistic is the audience share and in that department Doctor Who is as strong as ever. This year things are even tougher as the World Cup is on. The World Cup is a big deal, not just games involving the home country and not just the games but the pre/post game shows as well.

    Hey Guys,

Thanks for playing my UNIT review. On listening to my rather verbose and "um" filled message, I immediately realized that the final person at our table for the UNIT dinner was not Ricky (or Mickey) but rather Ryan. Sorry Ryan!

Regarding Big Finish handling the Time War, I think it would be possible. But only if they made it a stand-alone mini-series like the Cybermen or Dalek mini-series, and without Charley. That way it would have the least amount of impact on the ongoing 8th Doctor stories. You couldn't have Charley in it, because then what if India Fischer wants to stop making BF stories? How would they explain Charley leaving and then suddenly being back with the Doctor for the Time War? Maybe make it the 8th Doctor and Romana II. I think it would be pretty cool. Maybe they could even make it into a Flash animation episode, too. Meh. It could work.
